Location: the hotel was so close to beach, SHOPS, and the waterfront. Also, we were not too far away from East Beach.

Everything was simply good. Sincerely, it was a really comfortable stay for three nights. The king studio was updated and impressive with view. Bedroom was cheap and airy. The staff, everyone, was respectful.

This was our second time to stay there in the past year. We really like this hotel. About the only improvement I would make would be to tie-in a room with a discounted price at the first floor restaurant next door--access through the hall. Othersie, we have enjoyed our say there both times.
TV remote sucks and here is little by way of practical instructions to get it working. We had to have the front desk manager come up to get it right. And he could nt come up right away. Not his fault.

The immediate area it is located.
At first, they denied I had a reservation, offering me a room at a higher rate, then when I produced my copy of the reservation, they conceded, and were most accomodating. There must have been a "disconect " between the hotel and Booked.net. It was all good after that. A really nice place.

exploring parks and local eateries easily from the hotel
I loved being just a few steps away from Peculiar, Leather & Jewelry Art Works and less than a 5-minute walk to the fine White Rock Totem Poles, making my weekend wanderings super enjoyable as I discovered unique local art and culture.

The hotel was just across the street from the Pacific Ocean. Out your window you could see the tide going in and out throughout the day and evening. The cafe staff were very welcoming.
The air conditioner was loud.

The staff were so great. allowed us to change our room to one with a balcony. Then the following night they allowed us to switch with our son and his wife as they had two queen beds and we had a king. The atmosphere was so relaxed. get they new what they were doing. Our room had a balcony and we could see the sea. It was a really wonderful trip. Certainlly would go to that hotel again.
It was all good

We are return guests and they have always accommodated us. Enjoy the location and the easy registration.

In my wife's opinion, the room layout needs improvement. We had an uncomfortable lack of privacy due to the adjoining balcony. A better design would help families feel more at ease.

The rooms with a toothbrush, places to sit other than on the beds.

This hotel is top grade. The rooms and fittings are way above the standard which one expects for the price. although there is no restaurant as such there is an excellent restaurant five minutes walk away. Liked this hotel very much!
Ability of the small attached cafe to provide a full menu breakfast would be nice. The centre of White Rock is about a twenty minute walk along the promenade which may bother some, but it is a lovely walk.
